Nguid Ejagham

Nguid Ejagham (Ejagham Academy) is a platform created to motivate Ejagham people—particularly those from Manyu Division, Cameroon—to actively learn and engage with the Ejagham language as spoken in Manyu Division. This platform is a project of the Nguid Ejagham Development Initiative (NEDI).

We acknowledge that there is currently no academically agreed-upon standard for spoken or written Ejagham across all villages in Manyu Division. As such, we do not claim that the content provided on this platform represents a definitive or final solution.

The materials and teachings shared here are offered as a sincere and truthful guide, based on the lived experiences, learning, and everyday language use of indigenous Ejagham people. We remain open to dialogue, corrections, and contributions that can support the progressive and proficient development of the Ejagham language.
